“As a former gastrointestinal nurse, I witnessed the undeniable connection between gut and mental health.”
Throughout my personal life and nursing career, I have seen firsthand the profound impact of stress, lifestyle habits, diet, and disempowering mindsets contributing to chronic disease.
As a former gastrointestinal nurse, I witnessed firsthand the undeniable connection between gut health and mental wellbeing—a link that is too often overlooked in traditional healthcare. But it wasn’t until I faced a personal health scare that this connection became real to me. That experience was a wake-up call, forcing me to take a closer look at how I was—or wasn’t—nourishing my own body.
For years, I had cared for others struggling with gut-related issues, and I too struggled with similar paths of anxiety and physical symptoms. I knew something had to change. That turning point led me to explore the profound relationship between the gut and the mind on a deeper level. What I discovered was transformative.
By learning how to support both systems together, I found a way of living that felt both sustainable and energizing. It’s truly empowering to experience what happens when you nourish your whole self—mind and body.
As a Christian, I believe our spiritual, mental, and physical health are deeply intertwined. I give all glory and honor to God, our brilliant Creator, who designed our bodies with incredible intention and purpose. He lovingly equipped us with unique strengths, talents, and abilities to care for ourselves and others in meaningful ways. However, we cannot care for others well when we neglect our own health.
Today, my mission is to help individuals who feel disempowered or frustrated with their health implement science backed-alternative ways to support their mental and physical wellness so that they don't have to rely on medications or will power alone.
At Reclaimed Wellbeing, I help you uncover root causes, rebuild healthy habits, strengthen your spirit, and support your gut and overall well-being. Together, we’ll tap into your God-given strengths to pursue a more intentional, energized, and purpose-filled life. My goal is to equip you with practical tools to make informed, confident choices about your health.
I bring over a decade of experience in nursing, along with a strong foundation in both clinical and lifestyle health. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, and certificate in Transformational Nurse Coaching and Lifestyle Medicine. I follow the guidelines of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine to support chronic disease prevention and whole-person care. My background allows me to blend evidence-based practices with a compassionate, personalized approach—helping you build a sustainable path to lifelong wellness.
For He has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
