Let’s be honest — finding time for exercise can feel like just one more thing on your already full plate. And yet… your body was designed by God to move.
Movement is about creating space to feel clearer, calmer, and more connected in your daily life.
Physical activity is one of the most powerful tools for mental and physical wellbeing in all ages, which is why we integrate this wellness pillar into our coaching. Exercise's major influences are documented in preventing disease, lowering risk of developing certain cancers, and elevating mood.
“In Him we live and move and have our being.” – Acts 17:28
How intentional are you about the way you fuel your body? Good nutrition is a major conduit for how you look and feel.
The foods you consume do more than provide vitality, they also contribute to your self-esteem, energy, mood, and hormones.
If this is an area you struggle with, we can assist. We educate individuals in making informed food choices while improving their relationship with food, for not only their future but also for their families' future. Benefits can include improved gut-brain health, inflammation reduction, manage weight, boosting immunity, and lowered disease risk.
“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
Is all stress bad? Not exactly.
God designed our bodies with a stress response to help us act in moments of urgency. But when that stress becomes constant, it can quietly wear us down physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Many working parents juggling careers, family, and everything in-between, are carrying heavy mental loads.
The American Psychological Association 2022 survey found 34% of adults report feeling stress is completely overwhelming for them on most days. Unfortunately, chronic stress paves a future of disease and mental anguish that can result in disruptions and imbalances that can be seen in the gut-brain connection, immune system, inflammation, anxiety mental fog, fatigue, neurodegenerative diseases and burnout.
Your body wasn’t designed to live in chronic overwhelm.
By building faith-aligned stress management techniques and habits, you can equip your nervous system with resilience to handle life's curveballs.
“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
Sleep
God designed our bodies to heal and renew—spiritually, physically, and mentally—and sleep is one of His greatest gifts for restoration. Consistently getting 7–9 hours of quality rest allows your brain to detox and your body to recover.
Chronic stress, which elevates cortisol, is the leading cause of poor sleep. When stress is constant, it disrupts the natural sleep cycle and triggers challenges like cravings, weight gain, inflammation, anxiety, lowered immunity, and long-term health risks.
The good news: lifestyle adjustments can restore healthy sleep, but not without addressing root causes. Commit to prioritizing your rest as an act of worship and renewal.
"Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
You’ve likely heard the saying, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
It’s more than a motivational quote—it’s a powerful truth backed by both science and Scripture.
The relationships in your life don’t just influence your mindset or emotions; they shape your habits, your stress levels, your mental clarity—and even your physical health. Studies show that strong, supportive relationships can reduce stress, improve resilience, lower the risk of depression, and even decrease mortality rates.
That is why we believe connection is a non-negotiable pillar of true wellness.
If you struggle in this area, we can help you build healthier connections—with yourself, your work, and others. Whether it’s being more intentional with your kids, setting boundaries, or deepening relationships, we’ll guide you in creating connections that honor God, respect you, and uplift those around you.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17
Inflammation
Chronic inflammation is more common than people realize and is rarely a single cause issue but can be caused by the slow accumulation of poor lifestyle factors. Inflammation doesn’t just affect your body, it impacts your mood, memory, and ability to show up fully for your family and your calling.
It often goes unnoticed for months or even years as the body’s immune defense system doesn’t shut off properly or is constantly triggered by things like stress, diet, poor sleep, movement, and environmental toxins.
At Reclaimed Wellbeing, we challenge habits and equip you with tools to combat hidden inflammation in the body so that you create sustainable habits that restore energy and peace.
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”-- 3 John 1:2
